What happens to your answers

Who is responsible
Ville Tikka, sole trader, business ID 1926096-1, Kulmakatu 1, 00170 Helsinki, Finland. Email ville@villetikka.com about anything on this page.
When you take a roast
- Your answers go to AI. Claude, made by Anthropic, asks the questions and writes the roast, and may search the web for your organization. The site does not keep your answers. Anthropic deletes them within 30 days and does not train on them. Content it flags for breaking its rules may be kept up to 2 years, and its safety scores up to 7 years.
- A record of each roast. It holds how you arrived, your kind of seat and sector as sorted by the AI, the levels, whether you sent the roast, and the date. It has no name, email, answers or IP address, and is kept 24 months. If you send your roast, the record can be matched to you.
- Usage events, such as "a question was answered", with the date and a random id for the visit. Kept 12 months.
- Hosting logs with your IP address, the time and the page. Kept up to 30 days. IP addresses are also held in memory for about an hour to stop abuse.
- The AI's working notes on how it scored your roast stay in memory for about 2 hours. They go to Ville only if you send the roast.
- Your browser keeps your roast token, invitation code and where you came from in session storage until you close the tab. No cookies.
The legal basis for all of this is legitimate interest: giving you the roast you asked for, keeping the site secure, and seeing which channels bring people.
If you send your roast to Ville
- What he gets: your email and note, the conversation, the roast, the AI's working notes and its web searches. They arrive by email and are saved on the server. A copy of the roast goes to the address you entered.
- How he replies: Claude drafts a reply and notes your likely role, authority and timing, without seeing your email address. Ville reads everything, edits the reply and sends it. Nothing is decided about you automatically.
- Legal basis: your consent. Withdraw it at any time by emailing Ville.
- How long: 12 months, then deleted from the server and from Ville's inbox. Resend, which sends the emails, keeps its copy for 30 days. If you and Ville start working together, it becomes part of that work.
- It is never used for marketing.
If you ask for a seat
Your request goes to Ville by email and is saved on the server. He uses it only to answer you, on the basis of legitimate interest, and deletes it within 12 months. Resend's copy goes after 30 days.
Who else handles it
Anthropic runs the AI, Railway hosts the site, Resend sends the emails, and Google Workspace holds Ville's inbox. They process data mainly in the United States. Railway, Resend and Google are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Anthropic by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses. Nothing is sold, and there are no ads or cross-site trackers.
Your right to object
You can object at any time to anything based on legitimate interest by emailing ville@villetikka.com. Ville then stops, unless he has compelling grounds or needs the data for a legal claim.
Your other rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your data, get it in a portable format, or withdraw consent. Ville answers within a month. He cannot find a roast you did not send, because the site does not keep it.
You can also complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland: Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto, Lintulahdenkuja 4, 00530 Helsinki, tietosuoja@om.fi.
Sharing anything is up to you, although the roast needs some description of your organization. Leave out confidential information and details about other people. Strategy Roast is meant for adults using it for their work.
